About UsCleon Garl is a juried member of the Reading Berks Guild of Craftsmen as well as a member of the Lehigh Valley Wood Turners. A Temple native and a master carpenter for over 35 years; he thoroughly enjoys his hobby of taking exotic wood from all over the world and turning it into beautiful, useful items such as pens & bottle stoppers. Cleon takes the wood, turns it on a mini lathe and applies a clear finish that enhances the natural beauty and color of these amazing woods. "Every piece of wood is unique, and the challenge is to bring it's inherent beauty to the surface. I never know what will emerge from each piece of wood, but I am seldom disappointed."
